Typically a Mediterranean fish, Red Mullet can be accompanied by tomatoes and fennel, parmesan, artichokes and green olives. Red Mullet has a distinctive shellfish flavour due to their diet. A reasonably new species in Irish waters, migrating north to us from the warmer water.
