The Hurley’s are known to Kingfisher Fresh as the Kinsale men. Father, Jimmy, manages operations from shore while son Des skippers the boat. They’re a strong team and work hard every week to land fresh catch. The Dever Ar Mor has been landing to Kingfisher Fresh for many years.

This is a family that understand the fishing lifestyle, and more importantly are proud of it. Weather permitting, they work hard throughout the week and take the time to relax, rest and recover on weekends. They engage in sustainable practices, and engage in the fishing for litter initiative by removing waste and debris from Irish waters.

For the Hurleys, fishing is about being Irish. They’re advocates for Irish seafood and work hard with Kingfisher Fresh to promote awareness of Ireland’s fantastic seafood industry.
