The Kirwan’s

Both Michael Kirwan, Sr and Michael Kirwan, Jr are generational fishermen. Michael, Jr first started working on the boats with his father when he was a young boy. They are both conscientious hard workers, relentlessly keeping the supply of fresh fish coming.

These guys are an example of fishermen who completely understand their responsibility, they know the right way to fish and are always looking for opportunities for improvement. The type of fishermen who hire skip bins at their own expense to collect rubbish that comes up in their nets and remove it responsibly. Maintaining a healthy clean ocean and playing an early leading role in marine stewardship is deeply engrained in their mindset because it’s the right thing to do.

They’ve been with Kingfisher Fresh through good and bad times and have a deep passion for fishing.
