John is one of our most experienced fishermen. He’s an old school fishermen who after many years on the water now manages his two vessels from shore with his son, Richard.

Although retired from physically fishing on the vessels, John is far from retired in the industry. He works hard to make sure his boats keep fishing and that he has all the right sustainability measures on board. He runs a phenomenal crew on his vessels, who are quality focused and strive to provide top class fresh Irish seafood. 

John is an activist for fishing the right way, because it’s the right thing to do. He is a pillar of the fishing community and works passionately on the side to help fundraise for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
